Angel Prints...digital art creations

I draw these angels on my computer using my mouse and a photo editing program called Photoimpression4. There are updated versions out there but this one came with my computer and I fell in love with it.

I spend hours on each angel. It is very relaxing. The angels come from my emotions. Sometimes I see awful things in the news and while I try to grasp understanding, I draw an angel. I will try to relate any story behind these angels.

Some were done as customs where the person told me a story or told me of someone in need of an angel. Those were drawn especially for them. I only add them to the list to be printed if they agree. Most want to share their angels, but some are just too personal.

I love keeping my art personal. I love it that people share their hearts with me. It's a sort of therapy for both sides.

Most are available in ACEO wallet sized prints, 4x6 prints, 5x7 prints, & 8x10 prints. Multiple images can be combined to make a poster.

#1...this is the very first angel I drew. I saw her one night after my mother's death. She was absolutely stunning. I got out of bed and spent the rest of the night drawing her on the computer. I tried to get her down so I would never forget what she looked. She brought me peace and comfort. She made me feel that everything would be alright.

#2 With this angel I felt a great strength. I believed it to be the strength of my ancestors. Each and every generation had walked their own paths but their paths led to mine. They live through me and that made me feel stronger...and very much understood.

#3 This angel carried so much of my sadness. It was because of her that I could still function. The pain was too much to bear alone. All my questions with no answers...all my doubts and fears...she carried these things because she wanted to. She loved me no matter what

#5 (7) A Mother's Love...This special angel came to be on a very emotional day for me. It was my son's birthday, the first since Mom had passed. Mom was there when he was born and such a big part of all my memories. I poured my heart and soul into that angel. I felt like that little girl who needed to be held by her mother.

#6 (10)Healing Heart ...often mistaken for a broken heart, this one is a healing heart. It's being healed with love, kindness, Faith, and time.

#11 red resting. I drew this angel one night. I wasn't sure why but it happened to also be the night that my uncle was called home to Heaven. I call it his angel and knew she was now resting. He passed away from cancer.
